- Decisions are made by the system of indirect votes. At first a decision is made by a vote in the Board of Event Directors. At second, that decision is subject to a vote in the Board of Founding Members.
- In the Board of Event Directors the Rule is - One Event One Vote. Only Event Directors that are listed in the Register of Event Directors are allowed to cast a vote. The Event Directors of an Event decide which Director casts the vote. Only Events that have paid their dues in full are listed as Event in the Register of Event Directors. Only Event Directors that are correctly registered in the Event Sanctioning Package (Name, Address, % of ownership and signature) are listed in the Register of Event Directors.
- In the Board of Founding Members the Rule is - One Vote per Family of Founding Members. Only Founding Members that are listed in the Register of Founding Members are allowed to cast a vote. The Founding Members in a Family decide which Founding Member casts the vote.
- All decisions are based on a simple majority as outcome of a vote. In case of an even number of votes, this means 50% of the votes + 1 vote. In case of an odd number of votes, this means 50% of the votes, rounded to the next higher number of votes.
- Only persons present at the meeting where the vote takes place can cast a vote. No proxy's are accepted.
- The meeting where the vote takes place must be announced at least 1 month before the day of the meeting. This announcement can be made by the WorldCDF Secretary or by the WorldCDF MT. This announcement can be made by sending an email to all the persons listed in the Register of Event Directors and the Register of Founding Members. It is the responsibility of Event Directors and Founding Members that their correct email address is known to the WorldCDF Secretary and the WorldCDF MT
- At the start of each meeting it is determined which of the persons present are allowed to cast which vote. This is listed on the Voting List for that meeting. As it is possible that one person present is allowed to cast more than one vote, this is listed as well.
