Overall Ranking 2012

The WorldCDF Worldwide Overall Ranking is updated after every event. Points are only received for Overall Placements 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of official WCDF International events.

Each Overall Placement from 1st till 5th receives Overall Ranking points in the following structure:
1st Place Overall = 5 Points
2nd Place Overall = 4 Points
3rd Place Overall = 3 Points
4th Place Overall = 2 Points
5th Place Overall = 1 Points

A multiplier factor is calculated on top of these Ranking Points, based on the size of the division, in the following structure:
1 Competitor only in the division, receives a multiplier factor of 1
2 or 3 Competitors in the division, receive a multiplier factor of 3
4 or 5 Competitors in the division, receive a multiplier factor of 5
Over 5 Competitors in the division, receive a multiplier factor of 7

Calculation Example: A competitor who gained a 2nd Overall Placement in its division with a total of 5 competitors in that division, receives the following amount of Overall Ranking points:
4 Points x Multiplier factor 5 = 20 Points.

All received points are continuously summed up throughout the year.

If Upgrade indicates MUST this dancer must upgrade to the next dance level as of next years dancing season, based on its current year results.

If Upgrade indicates OPTION this dancer has the option to upgrade to the next dance level as of next years dancing season, based on its current year results plus its previous 2 years results.

If your WorldCDF membership for the current year has not been requested & processed at least 2 weeks before the start of a WorldCDF International Championship, a delay in your results being displayed in this Overall Ranking Report may occur !
To avoid such delays, please ensure you are registered at the WorldCDF for the current year as soon as possible.
