It is up to all competitors to locate and purchase the music for the Classic dances for themselves.

Welcome to the music section of the World Country Dance Federation. My name
is Alex Boone and I am from The Netherlands. I would like to welcome you to
the music section of the World Country Dance Federation.I am the New Head
of the Music Selection Board. Together with the other experienced members
of the committee, we aim to continue providing the best music that is available. For
many years, I have been a Country and a Line Dance DJ and since 2000, I’ve
been travelling all over the world, working as an event DJ at many International
competitions. It is always a great pleasure to meet so many people who enjoy
dance and music and I feel blessed to be able to contribute to that in the
future!
The main responsibilities of the Music Selection Board are to select the Showcase music for all divisions, help out with music for the Classic Linedances, give you definitive answers on what is or is not Country music, in fact anything to do with music. Without music there would be no dance!
