WCDF EDUCATION PROGRAMME

The World Country Dance Federation Education Programme will include a comprehensive syllabus to educate instructors, coaches, and dancers in all aspects of country dance to a standard that will be recognised throughout the dance world.

Covering all aspects of dance such as foot work, character, timing etc The Education Programme will be a perfect tool to improve your knowledge of country dance.

The WCDF have a number of recognised teachers and coaches working hard to improve your understanding of country dance and will soon be offering seminars, workshops, and private tuition at most events on the calendar, and in the future there will be the opportunity to run sessions at many local clubs.

This will be the perfect system to set you on the road to improve your dancing, to becoming a qualified teacher/coach, and ultimately could present you with the opportunity of becoming a judge within the WCDF.

Yvonne Dunn

The World Country Dance Federation offers an extensive Judges Training Programme.
World renowned judge Yvonne Dunn from England, UK, heads up the WCDF Judges Education & Certification Board, and Yvonne brings many years of experience of judging and dancing from the world of Ballroom dancing as well of course as the world of country dance. Joining Yvonne are: Roy Verdonk (NL), Dorsey Napier (USA), Neil Smith(UK), Petra van de Velde(BEL) and Steve Dunn(UK). It is the intention of the WCDF to have the best available judges for all our competitions through our extensive training programmes.
