Competition Dance Rules
Dear Dancers,
It is with great pleasure that the WorldCDF Rules Board presents the WorldCDF 2012 Rules Book.After many hours of discussions, we have produced changes which are for the benefit of all dancers; some new criteria, some removal of old rules and some changes to current rules.
It is very important that every dancer is aware of the changes made to the divisions in which they dance. Should you find a rule which you are unsure of, please contact the Rules Board on: rulesboard@worldcdf.com
Please be aware that the New Rules Book comes into effect AFTER the WCDF World Championships end on 7th January 2012.

Please click on below link to open the WorldCDF Rules Book. Apart from urgent rules updates, in general competition dance rules are updated once a year. These are published in the last quarter of the year for implementation as of January 1st of the next calendar year.
The new 2011 Rules book is now available. No changes have been made compared to the 2010 rules, but the format is more "user friendly" for easier reading.

An electronic dispensation request form can be found in the My Info section of our website. Log in first to My Info with WorldCDF ID and password. Once logged-in to the personal section, a dispensation request form can be issued. Dispensation requests will only be processed if issued through this electronic tool.
